I bought two of these as a gift for my partner, who has owned a Woodstock chime for over 20 years and loved it. Sadly, both had visible flaws right out of the box. One piece of wood had defect marks and the gong itself had dings. For the premium price, the quality control is simply not there. Very disappointing for such a beloved brand.
After delivery I held the gong in my hand and found that I don’t like the single tone and prefer a chime with multiple tones.
