Hallelujah Chorus Chime - Tenor
This chime is tuned to notes from Handel's "Hallelujah" chorus, part of his masterpiece, Messiah.
A hit when it debuted in Dublin on April 13, 1742, where ladies had heeded pleas by management to wear dresses without hoops so more people could fit in the hall, Messiah was originally an Easter offering. Now, of course, it's a fixture of the Christmas music scene, performed by local and professional choruses throughout the holiday season. Let this glorious chime ring in the holidays, and every day.
