Description

This product includes 20 feet of tan 130 gauge braided Terylene string to be used with chime tops that measure 8.25 inches in diameter. Please choose the string gauge appropriate to your chime top dimensions. Either black or tan colored string can be used.

The string life depends on the amount of UV exposure and the strength of the winds where your chime is hanging. Under normal conditions, the string should last 7-8 years.

No directions for repairing the wind chimes

The new owners of your company are not doing anyone any favors by no longer availing customers of repair service. The purchase of these chimes is an investment and should be treated as such by the manufacturer

Nice strong and weather resistant string

Much stronger than ordinary nylon string plus lasts 5-7 years in sunshine. Nice replacement string however quite expensive.
