    This incredibly well crafted Chime needs much wind to work properly.

    Got my tiny little Chime today and i was surprised how well it has been crafted. Love the Lapis accents and the quality. And so i searched within the house where to hang it up at best, my choice was a place on a hook beneath the roof. It's quite windy there and so I sat near the opened window and started to listen. A tiny small 'ding' here and there but overall it's really quietly and a strong breeze is necessary to let it 'ding'.
    When i should assume what it might be, then i would propose that it's the 'windstone', it seems to be a bit too heavy to let the chime sound as it should. A thiner stone plate might do it.

    We are very happy to hear that you like your chime. Below is a link with information on how to hang your chime. Sometimes just moving its location a small distance will solve the issue. Also, ensure that the chime hangs directly from a solid object. Hanging your chime using a length of rope or chain will result in the “pendulum effect,” whereby the entire chime sways in the breeze rather than the windcatcher itself. Hopefully this helps.
