Description

The unmistakable sound of this chime is musically tuned to notes derived from the proportion of the Golden Ratio given to us by ancient Greece.

This chime's stepped square top and square tube design were inspired by the Craftsman style of architecture popularized during the Arts and Crafts movement. This movement made designs based on the inherent harmony of mathematical proportions and their frequent occurrence in nature, paying homage, once again, to the Golden Ratio. The teachings of William Morris, a leader of the Arts and Crafts movement in England, greatly influenced designs created at the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony here in Woodstock, NY, in the early 20th century. This chime and many of our other products join this lively heritage.

    Beautifully peaceful

    I wanted a chime that would bring peace and serenity into my now extremely hectic life. I realized that to obtain the best chime for my needs, I would go to Woodstock Chimes (I have had many over the years) and I was absolutely right. Not only is my green Craftsman Chime beautiful to look at, the chime it brings is bright (not stark) and sweet. Thanks Woodstock - you always come through!

    Bitter Sweet and a little frustrating.

    Love the Wind chimes. We have bought many from you.
    Your service was mixed. I called you to check on my order, which was a gift and you informed me it wasn’t sent out on the date prescribed. So you credited my shipping cost; which was nice. But the person I sent the gift to could not tell whom it was from ? I never heard from them and embarrassed had to call them to make sure they received; which they did but they had know idea whom the chime was from ?

    Understated elegance

    A DAY TO RELAX

    What a beautiful tune when the wind is blowing. Something to unwind to after a hard day of work. Very relaxing & enjoyable while sitting under the big oak trees. If you want this to last for years to come. Keep it under an awning so the rain will not destroy the cords. Perhaps the seller will use a heavy plastic cording one day. Overall it is a great investment.
