Center your mind, body and spirit when you hear the soothing sounds of this Chakra Stones Aluminum Wind Chime. Seven aluminum tubes hang from a piece of blue-washed pine wood and are tuned to the frequencies of the human body's seven chakras. The seven stones: amethyst, lapis, aventurine, citrine, carnelian and jasper, adorning this wind chime's clapper are aligned in a column, to symbolize the seven chakras aligned along the body's spine.
Combining color and sound, this chime reflects the ancient meaning of the human body's major energy centers. Eastern philosophy can be difficult for the Western scientific mind to understand and yet, many of the Eastern claims are being proven scientifically. According to the traditions, there are seven basic chakras, which correlate to the seven main nerve ganglia emanating from the spinal column, as revealed through modern studies of physiology. Each chakra location has a unique meaning, orientation and healing potential. This chime will remind you of the strength of mind over matter and, through sound, give you a small window into the balance of the physical and metaphysical. Hang this chime anywhere it can catch the breeze and bring relaxing tones to your outdoor retreat.
