This deep-toned chime is tuned to the inspiring tones heard in the opening measures of Amazing Grace, one of America's best-loved and most widely known hymns. The lyrics were written by Englishman John Newton in the late 18th century. As a young man on board a merchant ship, Newton underwent a spiritual awakening while caught in a deadly storm at sea. This was the beginning of a journey that would lead the one-time slave trader to become a vocal abolitionist and transform a man without conviction into one of unshakable faith. It has played an essential role in drug and alcohol recovery, the Civil War, the Civil Rights Movement, and 9/11. Newton's message of hope and redemption from over 200 years ago resonates with the same power today in our Amazing Grace Chime.     AMAZING WIND CHIME

    I own 6 Amazing Grace Chimes, all are wonderfully tuned, sound Amazing in every breeze. They are beautifully made, the wood on my oldest chime from 2014 looks brand new!! And the customer service folks are super sweet & caring. I definitely recommend Woodstock wind chimes to everyone I know....

    The perfect finishing touch for a garden

    I purchased this chime a couple of years ago, and it still makes me smile each time I hear it. Because of the size, which I love, it doesn't sound unless it's quite breezy, but that's what makes it so special and unexpected. The chime is beautiful, melodic and muted somewhat, and I've had nothing but positive feedback from my neighbours. It's one of the best things I ever bought for my garden.
