Description
Ancient Chinese bells inspire this trio of bells, offering a restful tone. Bells have been used throughout history to accompany dance, provide comfort, and warn of potential danger. The Chinese were the first to control the pitch or note of a bell, making it possible for them to play tunes. Soon, bells were being used to accompany worship. On New Year's Eve, the bells in Buddhist temples are rung 108 times, once for each of the 108 worldly desires. In the East, bells have become highly significant and are often adorned with meaningful symbols. For centuries, tuned bells have been suspended in homes and temples to ward off evil and attract good luck and prosperity. Woodstock Temple Bells are inspired by these ancient bells and work harmoniously with the wind to create gentle, soothing tones.

    Wonderful sound but they do eventually rust

    I have had several of the Temple Bells in Trio and Quintet. Trio has a lovely sweet sound, but after a year they are rusty.

    I had a spare time and went to Ace Hardware just to browse. And there was a display of all windchime from this company. Most of it are sold out except the displays. And I choose this one. I love it. I plant to put it in my garden and planning to buy more.

    I purchased these temple bells for someone that had lost a loved one.
    I think they will be a perfect reminder of a life well lived.
    I did open one just to inspect that all was well. They were just as described online. The sound is very pleasant. Quality product. I always trust Woodstock Chimes.

    Beautiful Temple Bells

    I received a set of chimes for Christmas last year that have lovely lower sounds. These temple bells are delicate sounding that complement the other set beautifully. I love them!

    Love these bells!

    These bells have such a pretty sound. I have three sets of temple bells, two of which are in brass and one is the 5-bell model. The brass are my favorite for the sound, but the copper are also very pretty. I hang mine on slender tree branches so that even the gentlest of breezes will make them sing.
