Inspired by the Chicago Cubs' World Series win in 2016, this chime is tuned to the opening notes of Take Me Out to the Ball Game, a Tin Pan Alley song written in 1908 by Jack Norworth and put to music by Albert Von Tilzer. The song was first played at a Major League Baseball game during the 4th game of the 1934 World Series. Nowadays, it's sung at baseball games in North America, always during the seventh-inning stretch, with the crowd enthusiastically singing along. Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd...For its one, two, three strikes you're out at the old ball game!

    Made extremely well, however you can’t really hear the tune that the chimes are playing at all. A bit disappointed to be honest but they are a solid chime, nicely made.

    Take me out to the ballgame wind chime review

    I love it! The windchime does play the song if it hits the chimes in the right order, but that happens occasionally. I get a chuckle from hearing chime only play a couple of notes. I would definitely recommend any baseball fan to purchase this windchime

    Can’t really make out the song

    I love the quality of the wind chime, but it really doesn’t play Take Me Out To The Ballgame. Why is that?

    I sit outside each night by my pool after work and play with my 3 Golden Doodles chasing balls until the sun goes down. The Windchime adds so much asthetically to "my favorite room in the house".     I gave these chimes to my husband, who is a rabid baseball fan, for his birthday and he thinks it's the coolest gift ever. High quality, good sound, and because the chimes are random you don't hear Take Me Out To The Ball Game until you want to cut off your ears; just bits every now and again. We both love it.
