The lyrics were written by Englishman John Newton in the late 18th century. As a young man on board a merchant ship, Newton underwent a spiritual awakening while caught in a deadly storm at sea. This was the beginning of a journey that would lead the one-time slave trader to become a vocal abolitionist, and transform a man without conviction into one of unshakable faith. It has played an essential role in drug and alcohol recovery, the Civil War, the Civil Rights Movement, and 9/11. Newton's message of hope and redemption from over 200 years ago resonates with the same power today in our Amazing Grace Chime. Gifted to my sister

My sister hung the chimes immediately after receiving them. She was pleasantly surprised how they played Amazing Grace. She ended up working in her flower & vegetable garden while enjoying the chimes.

I love everything about these chimes. They seem very well made, and the sound is lovely.

Beautiful and love Amazing Grace, gave as a gift for our daughters new home, had originally purchased a silver a bit smaller which needed to be larger, so mailed it back and exchanged for large bronze chime. I’ve ordered this same one a number of times as memorial gifts. Such a blessing to the recipient hearing the beautiful. Melodies outside their door and remembering their loved ones. Very happy with this chime.

Broken, Replacement not Engraved

The first one was broken. They shipped a replacement quickly, but it didn’t have the engraving/labeling like the first one.
