Heroic Windbell - Antique Copper LG

The chime is absolutely beautiful! However, it is so heavy we need a strong wind to cause it to swing/make music. We love it enough that we are going to go down a size.

Beautiful wind bell, but you’re going to have to work at hanging it in a spot where it gets enough wind to actually ring. Wish Woodstock would include advice on its site about best hanging practices.

We have been looking for a simple tone wind chime for our patio garden. This fit the bill better than we could have imagined. It's simple and beautiful. A real statement peace (yes I spelled it right /wrong on purpose)

Gifted this to a friend for her lovely backyard and she absolutely loved it and also enjoying the sound it makes🙂

My wife absolutely loves chimes, and her passion has become an affinity for me as well. We found a couple of these chimes at a local Orscheln Farm & Home store, one for about $95, the other about $135. Bought both as gifts for wife's birthday in July 2023. Well, the larger chime wind paddle string broke and the paddle fell off, so now there's a dangling ball but almost no "chime" sounds. Think they'll offer to send some new string to replace/repair the chime, along with instructions for the repair? I'll wait...

My husband bought me the smaller version of this for Mother’s Day. We absolutely love it. I got him this large one for his birthday in July. We love to sit outside on our porch and listen to the wind bells. The neighbors have expressed loving hearing them as well.

I absolutely love my Windbell. It looks as good as it sounds. It has a very gentle soothing sound and adds so much charm and peace to my deck. The winds in South Dakota blow! The bell has stood up to our harsh temperatures and winds. I have had some difficulty with the string breaking but Keri in customer service has gone about and beyond in helping me with my issue. She has sent me a replacement gong and flapper and has sent heavier line. I absolutely love my bell!

Delivered Broken Chime, no customer service at woodstock chimes, never answered call for assistance in a replacement.

Amazing sound, beautiful windchime, but reviews are accurate..wind needs to be strong for it to chime.

This is my second time buying the large Heroic Bells as a gift. First time was for a young couple getting married. This deep tone of this bell was to remind them of their vows, a call to remember. They love it! The second time I bought this was for the garden of a new home purchase. The heaviness of this bell makes it tone gently in the breeze, and reminds people of different things....a temple bell, a distant ship bell, a far away singing note. It blankets the garden with a soft sound when there is a wind. I already know I will buy this again in the future:)

The sound, the quality, and the product exceed expectations. This bell is very sturdy. The sound is beautiful. The bell is surprisingly heavy so we reinforced it with a heavy chain. We are very happy with the product.

I bought this for its tone and appearance, but unless it’s very, very windy, it makes no sound whatsoever. I don’t know how to fix this.

A bit heavy but New Mexico has fairly strong winds. I do need to reinforce the ceiling. Sounds very good though.

Gosh I just love it, like sitting in a Zen garden,like big deep breath that causes you to think as you slowly exhale♥️

We love this bell. The sound is so soothing, yet stirring. We hung it in a tree and it looks beautiful. We highly recommend this!

They were bigger and better that I hoped for

I have two chimes from Woodstock Chimes and LOVE them both. The one in question takes more wind to activate but it sounds just like I’m in a harbor. The other is a multiple chime and it rings at the slightest bit of wind. Thank you for the great product.

Although we live in the Windy City, this chime will not ring. It’s clearly designed poorly for that function. It’s more like a pretty paperweight because that’s all it’s good for. If you’re thinking about buying this, take a pass. Too expensive for its total lack of function. It’s not “Heroic”. It’s “Cowardly “.

This is an amazing designed chime when rung has a beautiful tone that reminds me of Tibet.

The heaviness of this bell is not a problem for me, but it may contribute to the fact that even in some heavier winds and breezes, this Heroic Windbell seldom makes a peep. I love the look of the windbell, but I have repeatedly moved it to different places outside my home, trying to find places with enough of a breeze to make this thing make itself known. All my other Woodstock Chimes are happily making their music, but this windbell still stays silent… even with the oversized “windcatcher” it comes with. So I love the look, but very disappointed in its’ continued silence.

The welding job needs to be better. When hung, the bell is not level. This is solely due to the welds and improper quality controls.

The only thing I don’t like is the cord used to hold it together . It comes untied a lot. I have finally taken to using coated wire to hold it together, both inside and on the piece hanging down.
