Bells of Paradise - Black 68"

These are large chimes and will require a strong - high space to hang. But they are so worth it!

Did I read the measurements? Yes. Did I want big chimes? Yes. Did I still wildly underestimate how massive these chimes would be? Yes. Was I more than a little intimidated when I opened the box? Also yes.

I think it’s just hard to conceptualize something this large. What I should have remembered is that I’m 5’9”, and that means I’m 69” tall, so these chimes are basically the same size as I am. Like, all of me. So, if you want chimes the size of the average adult male? These are for you. Due to their size, they are accordingly heavy, so make sure you have someplace sufficiently sturdy to hang them.

All of that aside, their huge size means they produce exactly the kind of gorgeous, deep tones that I hoped they would. The all-black coloring is absolutely sleek and sexy.

I’m honestly delighted even if I did gasp and then laugh at how huge these were when I opened the box.

The 68 inch Bells of Paradise are truly the most beautiful sounding chimes I've ever heard. I need to give a huge shout out to Susie at Woodstock Chimes fir helping me choose and send these phenomenal chimes to my dear brother! Susie, thank you for being so amazing!!!
My brother sent me a video of the chime sound... deep, musical, soul penetrating sound that transports you to a lush garden, with a waterfall, on a hillside in a far flung magical land!!! You get the picture???? I'm really glad I got him the 68 inch Bells of Paradise! Accept NO substitutes!

The card that comes with the chime says it all, “…tuned to an ancient Chinese pentatonic scale, this chime… is said to conjure a positive, harmonious and timeless feeling ~ capable of transporting you to a place of contentment and inner peace.” After a few laps around the chimes display in the store, this one truly gave me the most uplifted vibes without being high-pitched. It’s my second chime of this brand ~ the first was a gift I received (Neptune *highly recommend*) and I just gifted Paradise to my mom. I hung mine in a fruit tree about 20 feet from my back door and I’ve never had to move it — 3 yrs old and still looks great. Looking forward to adding more to my soundscape!

This is a big chime set and really beautiful with long resonance and nice deep but melodic tones. I highly recommend.
