A vision of white, this chime can turn your garden into an elegant oasis.

Capiz are farmed in Indonesia and every bit is used. The pieces are carefully sorted, dried, sliced, shaped, sanded and dyed. The thin, flat translucent pieces of capiz provide a luminous color.

In the 1500s, capiz were used as windowpanes in houses; now they are used in all sorts of home decorations, including lampshades, vases, and (of course) windchimes!

This product is handcrafted with pride by artisans in Bali, therefore sizes can vary.

    I hang my chimes indoors for ambiance, and also because I rent a flat with no private area outdoors. I love how this chime looks and feels in my space. I purchase them often for friends and family.

    Capital shell windchime

    I purchased this windchime for my daughter to hang in her café, Ding Repair, in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. Very delicate but arrived well protected and in perfect condition. They are an eye catching size with kind of a waterfall look and the sound is just loud enough to attract attention but not so loud as to be distracting when people are chatting! She loves it!!
