    Very happy with gong

This gong is the replacement for the exact same gong that I had purchased at a casino on a reservation about ten years ago. It had been outside exposed to the elements and the strings finally broke. I opted for a new one rather than try to repair the old one. The new gong came with product care instructions that I had neglected. I loved my old gong and now I love my new gong!

    Emperor Gong small

While I love my gong I would put a larger hanger on to catch air movement in my room. Unless I manually move it currently it is not responding to soft breeze or warm air rising from forced air heat.

    JUST WISHED IT GONGED!

As I've read in other reviews and have now experienced for myself, this gong never gongs. I love the look and quality of the gong, but it's just not made in a way that actually works for producing a calming gong sound whatsoever. In light winds, in heavy winds, this thing just spins. I'd say someone needs to really rethink how this is made, put it through a series of tests to try and see if they can make one that actually works. For now, it's really just a pretty outside ornament and nothing more.
