Description

This product includes 20 feet of black 200 gauge braided Terylene string to be used with Windsinger Chimes of Athena, Windsinger Chimes of Orpheus and Medium and Large Emperor Gongs. 

Here's where you can find chime stringing instructions, along with a how-to video.

The string life depends on the amount of UV exposure and the strength of the winds where your chime is hanging. Under normal conditions, the string should last 7-8 years.

Great advice from Woodstock Chimes

We have the Emperor Gong for several years now in the back patio with a fountain. We use this area to de-stress from a very stressful job and lifestyle. I love my job just wish it was not so stressful.
One day the String started to get frayed, and I was worried it would break, so I too it down. Big mistake.
