Description
This handcrafted steel bell has a contemporary charm and a great tone. This handcrafted, wind-activated bell, with its bold tone and design, functions nicely as a welcome bell at any entrance to your home or garden. We tone our bells to unite two important ways the instrument vibrates. One is the sound of the bell itself, and the other is the hollow chamber inside the bell that acts like an organ pipe. The slots on the sides of the bell are the secret to this unique coupling. The result is a rich sound with much depth and beauty. This steel bell has been coated with a handsome, durable finish, so you can enjoy it for years to come. Hang your Heroic Windbell in a breezy spot and let it play in the wind.

    Perfect

I have it in a sheltered yard. When the breeze is up it gets active and it’s a nice complement to my other wind chimes. Thanks!

Beautiful tone! And just plain beautiful

    Large green heroic wind bell

Excellent. Although it would be nice if you used a thin light weight chain instead of a nylon cord to hang the clapper. In this Arizona dry heat nylon dry rots in under a year. This wind bell will hang outside year round. I anticipate having to pitches replacement parts before the end of the year .other than that, exceptional quality. Will be getting more.

Why don't the replacement parts include all the finishes?

I bought the product below and there is damage to the large leaf that hangs down. I have the green, It is not in replacement parts. I will purchase the ringing mechanism, whatever you want.

    Heroic Windbell Large, Verdigris

The craftsmanship & sound of the Heroic large Windbell is excellent. Perfect low sound with my Encore Chimes. I hung the wind bell and it was high so added a chain. The bell was mostly silent compared to my Encore chimes. My mistake for not reading the instructions! Using the chain made the whole bell move and not just the wind catcher! Once hung on the ring it works perfectly! We now use the wind bell manually. Living on several acres we use it as lunch bell to call my grandson in from playtime!

    To large

It's a very nice piece, but wished the weight of the bell had been listed. I would have chosen the medium size instead. The tone is great, no doubts about that. Since I shop online more information would have been nice. We'll live with it. We have it hung on a shepards hook and it seems to hold it quite well, but in a windstorm with damp soil could be a problem. We'll watch it and see what happens. BTW this item weighs 11.8 lbs in case you are wondering.

    Hello Judi,
We are happy to hear that you find your Heroic Windbell a very nice piece and enjoy the tone of it. We have taken note of your wish for more online information concerning the weight of larger products and we will look to include this information in the future.
