This chime is named for the stormy blue planet first observed through a telescope in 1846. Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun. In Roman mythology, Neptune was the god of the sea, an apt name for a planet with the nickname "Blue Giant."

    My large Neptune chime was exactly what I wanted and expected. I love it and am totally satisfied with that purchase.I was not so satisfied with the smaller chime I purchased... it was much smaller than I expected and the pitch was much higher than I wanted. I was disappointed.

    The hanging piece

    The piece that hangs the chime is plastic. That won't last long. In the past, always metal.

    Love these chimes!

    The Neptune chimes are BEAUTIFUL! The set was expertly packaged and the evergreen color is perfect, blending with the leaves on our trees. Theses are so well made (which is why I like Woodstock) and last much longer than others. But the best part is the music the chimes make, when the breezes flow through the branches. We are delighted!!
