Heroic Windbell - Grand, Antique Copper

This extra large handcrafted steel bell has an amazing deep tone and plays beautifully in the wind.

This handcrafted, wind-activated bell, with its bold tone and design, functions nicely as a welcome bell at any entrance to your home or garden. We tone our bells to unite two important ways the instrument vibrates. One is the sound of the bell itself and the other is the hollow chamber inside the bell that acts like an organ pipe. The slots on the sides of the bell are the secret to this unique coupling. The result is a rich sound with much depth and beauty. This steel bell has been coated with a handsome, durable finish, so you can enjoy it for years to come. Hang your Heroic Windbell in a breezy spot and let it play in the wind.

Heroic Windbell, Grand review on a windy, spring day in Tennessee

We have had four Woodstock Wind Bells in the two sizes smaller than Grand. Our family has a definite preference for the Large over the Medium, but we are in love with our new Grand size. It reminds us of the harbor bouys and of the peaceful, lazy, happy days of our youth at the shore. It takes quite a bit of breeze to get the Grand going, and when it does, it really vibrates and resonates. Take a chance on the Grand, because it’s visually and audibly pleasing.

    This thing is awesome!

This bell has such a deep, rich tone! It’s absolutely wonderful to listen to and look at! Quality construction and a beautiful finish. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

This windbell sounds as beautiful as it looks.

I am very happy with my purchase of this windbell, it not only looks beautiful on our porch but it sounds beautiful as well. We live in Northern Nevada where we get some very strong winds, and the size seems to handle it well, while providing beautiful music. We have a large Heroic Windbell on one side of the house and the Jumbo in the front. They provide soothing music in the middle of the high desert. (Please note, the Jumbo must be hung with a lot of support as it is very heavy.)

The Heroic Windbell was a Christmas gift for my mom, and she LOVED it.
