Encore® Chimes of Neptune - Bronze
This chime is named for the stormy blue planet first observed through a telescope in 1846. Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun. In Roman mythology, Neptune was the god of the sea, an apt name for a planet with the nickname "Blue Giant."
These tuned wind chimes are beautiful to look at as well as to listen to.
I love the sound of the Neptune chime. It's rhythmically magical, deep and low, and I feel very relaxed by its lulling melancholic tones. These are my first WC chimes and I'm so impressed by the tones that are not just random clanking of metal, but sound composed. I'm very impressed how the slightest breeze will stir them despite the large size. I was wanting a deep tone, but not a "church bells" sound and these are just perfect. I have them in a tree since 2016 and I'm ordering string to fix a break. I've never had any chime last this long. I leave them out in the elements, rain, winter, summer all year long in Florida, only taking them in on a few hurricane occasions. I get near daily pop-up rains in the summer and leave them hanging. The chimes just provide so much joy, I decided to use them this way.
I received my set of chimes for our anniversary from my wife and am still not sure who enjoys them more. She talked about moving them out of direct rain but was afraid that she would not be able to hear them as well. We both absolutely love listening to them and have have really enjoyed them. Would not be surprised if we bought some more to accompany these. Thank you so much.
