String: 80lb Black Chime String - 20 feet

I ordered the string and 3 different size sails. They arrived before expected and were exactly what I needed. Great company to order from.

Purchased a new chime and the string was broken/cut at one of the nails. I was able to make temporary repairs by using string from the center piece which was doubled.
After the new string arrived it was easy to restore the chime to it original statues. It really is easy to work with.
I would recommend it for any chime the size is appropriate for.

I’m waiting for the snow to melt, so I can get to the ladder to remove the chimes and re-string them. (The winter that just won’t quit!) The new string looks fine and came quickly. It’s only the paddle string that broke but I may re-string everything while I am at it. I do have to say that the shipping was outrageous! But finding the right weight string—like with everything in Alaska—may have proved difficult, so I paid the big bucks. But you really could have done better than $19.99 for shipping for a lightweight packet that cost $12.99, stuck in an envelope.
These were my first ever Woodstock chimes bought in the ‘80’s and I had them re-strung with new wood at some point in this new millennium. I just love these Chimes of Partch, and out of all our chimes, these are the ones I will keep until I’m gone!
